Sunday walk

Hi Guys, I just wanted to share some pictures I have taken this afternoon with my fiancé. Maybe they are not the best quality as they are from my blackberry but I hope you will like them. This is the place where I live-5min walk to the river Thames:) xxx

Thursday, 28 July 2011 my weekly rush...

What's up Ladies?!!!

Hope you are having good week.
Mine is very productive so far and full of exciting meetings and venue visits all over London. I’m so excited about my 2 upcoming projects and one of them is gonna be a Fashion Show! I’ve been asked to write up the event proposal for this particular one! I already did plenty of research and found and booked one stunning venue! Now I only need to put together hundred different bits and pieces into the final product and make it a success;)! Anyway, that’s pretty much all about this week work! Maybe only one thing worth mentioning. I’m having another quite important meeting tomorrow regarding this Fashion Show and I already started putting my outfit for this occasion. Here it is! Reckon I should be all right with that. Not too smart but hmm.. something... I would call it casual-smart which suits me well. Again, for me it's all about feeling comfortableJ and the rest should certainly be 'easy peasy'J

Take it easy girls and have a wonderful weekend!

Sunday chills

Hi Darlings,
How was your weekend?

Finally the sun came back to London! Hurray
J! It was  really ugly for the couple of last few weeks and it seriously started to affect my mood. But as the good weather is back, as soon as I woke up this beautiful morning I started nagging my fiancé to get up from the bed and to take me for a long walk by the river Thames and obviously I wouldn't forgive myself if I hadn't have a cup of  ice coffee on the way. Taking the advantage of the sunshine we took our camera with us but when it came to photo-shooting we realized that the memory card is not there so- no outdoor pics today, I'm afraid! You can imagine how upset I was. All the preparations and all for nothing. Anyway, as soon as we came back I managed to take a few shots in our flat. Hope that you like it. I'm wearing my favorite raspberry jeans on the photos here and I match them with the light blue jeans shirt. I was bit nervous when I was buying this jeans earlier this year as I didn't want to end up with something I would rarely wear because the colour doesn't mix with many other colours. But as it happens this colour works brilliantly with anything and any colour you like. If you were having the same kind of dilemmas before getting yourself something in this colour then I can reassure you that there is nothing to worry about. This colour blends with almost anything!
Guess, it's all for now, but I promise you to load my camera next time and maybe show you a bit around the place I live. It's lovely place by the river.
Have a lovely week and see you later.

Style Icons-my favorite look!

Olivia Palermo
Hi Girls,
How are you today? I am enjoying my lazy weekend and came up with the idea of showing you a few pictures of my favorite celebrities that I frequently keep an eye on to get an inspiration to dress myself up! Some of the outfits are rather basic, other maybe bit smarter but each of them has got something to offer,I think. Anyway there is always something there to catch my attention. I feel sometime like they (celebrities) do copy my outfits from time to time.Just kidding;).But it's quite obvious that they take inspiration from us girls as much as we do from them. Anyway I can’t wait to put together the look of Olivia Palermo (1st picture) or Maja (4th picture) but in my own way.I will certainly add bit here or bit there to make it more complete;). I really like Whitney Port as a person and it's so nice that her outfits usually match her personality. The cardigan she wears on the photo here comes from her new collection. That's the one I would go for if I could only afford it. I love to watch all these celeb-girls and the way they dress up for different occasions. Always something there to help to put our outfits together.
By the way, who does inspire you guys or who do you consider the style icon?

Plain and Simple!

Hello again Guys,
How's your week so far? Mine is busy as usual and after my last friday event I still can't quite recover although the next one is comming very soon and It would be good to be fully charged by then! Because of the fact that I'm so busy at work I don’t care about the weather anymore and even when it rains I’m not bother! Anyway, I've spared couple of hours last weekend and went for a bit of shopping. Managed to get few little things and one of the bargains I brought home with me you can see on the photos here. Got myself this black, cute leggins from Zara with the adourable gold buttons on sides. The outfit I’m showing you guys today is my kind of 'every day' style I put on for work! Why's that? Because I quite like keeping things plain and simple! Simple doesn't necessary mean boring. Although the things I wear on the photos look kind of casual they are at the same time rather smart! Great combination for every occasion. This is all me! What do you think? Share your opinions with me and I'm waiting for any comments or word of advice! Would you rather wear it different or maybe you would add something to it?All comments appreciated!

 See you later!

Flavour of Spain

Hi Babes,
Another of my culinary experiments. Made it yesterday to have a reason to stay at home and to spend the evening with my fiancé only. It is actually our first dinner together in London since we've come back from Gozo and became engaged couple. How lovely it sounds :-)!Engaged Couple! Why Paella?! Cause we both love Spain and cause we don't know when we would go there again. So we decided to invite a bit of Spain to us in the form of this delicious Paella. And as we both love 'Frutti di mare' Paella with king prawns is another reason to have them on our plate.
Follow the simple recipe below and try to make it yourself. You will love it! Believe you me!!!This one serves six so you can have plenty leftovers to enjoy it the next day;).

1. 350g Paella rice
2. 2 Tablespoons olive oil
3. Chicken jointed into 8 pieces
4. 1 Large onion, peeled and roughly chopped
5. 1 Red pepper, deseeded and roughly chopped into chunks
6. 110g Spanish chorizo, skin removed and cut into 1cm dice
7. 2 Cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
8. 1 heaped teaspoon paprika
9. 1/4 level teaspoon cayenne pepper
10. 1/2 level teaspoon saffron strands
11. 8 Ripe red tomatoes, skinned and roughly diced
12. Couple of king prawns
13. 50g Shelled peas
14. 1 Lemon, cut into wedges to garnish
15. Salt and freshly milled black pepper
How to make it:
1.Heat oil over a fairly high heat
2. Season the chicken until golden brown then remove them to a plate
3. Next add the onion, pepper and chorizo and fry these over a medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until they're nicely tinged brown at the edges
4. Now add the garlic, paprika, cayenne and saffron and cook for another minute, then return the chicken to the pan followed by tomatoes, plenty of seasoning and 1/2 litres of boiling water
5. Next bring everything up to a gentle simmer, turn the heat and cook uncovered for 10 minutes
6. After that, remove the chicken pieces and set them aside, then poor the rice into the centre of the pan
7. Bring everything back up to the boil, give a final stir and simmer, still uncovered, for about 10 minutes. During that time, shake the pan occasionally and move it around on the hob a little if the hob plate is not as big as the base of the pan
8. Next return the chicken, along with the prawns and peas to the pan and continue to simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked, adding a little more hot liquid if you think it's necessary. Now shake the pan again, making sure the rice is completely immersed.
9. Turn the prawns over half way through the cooking time-they will turn pink when cooked. The rice at the edges of the pan will take longest to cook, so to test that the paella is ready, take a little of the rice from the edges and check it's cooked through, then remove the pan from the heat and cover with a clean tea cloth for 5 minutes to absorb some of the steam. The paella is now ready-just garnish with the lemon wedges and don't forget to have hot plates ready to serve it on.

That's it! Simple! And don't forget about a shallow paella pan. Get yourself rather large one with the base diameter at least 10 inches(25.5cm)

Looking for glasses?

Source: google

Hi guys,
How was your weekend? Hope you had a nice and relaxing time! I took some time to sort out my wardrobe and gave few things to the local charity shop! Next weekend I would like to go for shopping as sale is now on everywhere! I have seen already on the internet couple of things I need to buy! One of them are new pair of glasses! I like them a bit heavy and oversized. Retro would be the style I will definitely look for. To get an inspiration I went on the internet and google few celebs. Here are some pictures I found-the first one are my favourite oneJ
